[EN] The main axis of the work is the analysis of the financial series of returns, First introducing the theory of the necessary tools and then putting it into practice with real data from the IBEX35. The return series do not show dependence on their mean and their modeling focuses almost exclusively on high conditional heteroscedasticity. Despite this, the ARMA models geared to the mean of the series will also be included, as they will be helpful when presenting the other models. The first chapter presents the returns, the most common distributions that follow and its main characteristic, volatility, will be developed. The second chapter deals with fundamental concepts such as the definition of a time series, the need to impose stationarity or the autocorrelation function. In the third chapter, the Box-Jenkins models proposed to model the mean are studied and will be put into practice with real data from the IBEX35. Finally, in the fourth chapter the conditional heteroscedasticity models will be presented, highlighting the GARCH model. Two variants of this will also be included and all the concepts will be applied to the previous data to complete the analysis. |
